Coaching

  • Missour (ODP) Olympic Development Program (2 yrs).
  • Busch Soccer Club (2 yrs) now (Scott Gallagher Soccer Club)
  • Dismas CYC (12 yrs) 2 City County championships

Playing Experience

  • Memphis Americans (3 yrs) Captain of team. Coached by Horst Bertl, ex. German soccer player with Hamburg SV. Team consisted of players from Argentina, England, Chile, Poland and US. Played with teammate Bern Holzenbein, (World cup winner with Germany).
  • Played one year for Hartford Hellions, coached by John Kowalski. Franchise later relocated to Memphis. Team consisted of Polish, English, Hungarian and US players.
  • Played for Seattle Sounders of the North American Soccer League. (3 yrs.) Coached by Jimmy Gabriel, Harry Redknapp and Bobby Howe from England. Harry Redknapp later coached numerous seasons in the English Premier League. At Seattle got to play with Sir Bobby Moore (World cup winner for England) and Alan Hudson, national team player for England. Got to play against players such as Pele, Franz Beckenbauer, George Best, Carlos Alberto, and Giorgio Chinaglia. Runner up in 1977 Championship game against New York Cosmos.
  • Played international friendly matches against Chelsea, Santos of Brazil and Stuttgart of Germany.
  • US National Team: Played 2 matches against Russia.
  • US Olympic Team: Played 3 matches again Japan in Tokyo.
  • Played at St. Louis University for 4 years. All American two years. NCAA national champions freshman year and runner up the following year.
  • State soccer champion at McCluer H.S., High School All American
